Congratulations to the FC United Quickshots U9 girls primary all star team for their most recent championship at the Strawberry Cup in Hammond, LA. The Quickshots won all four of their games to win the tournament in the U10 Blue Division conceding only one goal the entire weekend. The Quickshots are currently ranked 2nd in the State with a record of 30-6-1. Way to go girls!

Congratulations to the teams that won their division or placed second in the Club Tournament. These teams will be representing South Mississippi Soccer Club at District.
Congratulations to SMSC’s U10 Boys Primary Division 2 Team – the FCU Rockachaws – for winning the Clinton Spring Classic Tournament last weekend in dramatic fashion – a shootout at the end of regulation! The team “weathered” the storm of the tournament – muddy fields, cold weather, and snow flurries! – not to mention a stout lineup of opponents. Winning their group stage with three wins and a draw, they faced the undefeated Clinton team in the final and rallied from a 3–1 deficit late in the second half to force the shootout. A stop on Clinton’s sixth shot by Rockachaw goalkeeper Walter Dyal secured the championship. Good job Rockachaws!
Hi Parents, I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to let everyone know that the 13th Annual International Soccer Clinic has been set. The dates will be June 3rd through June 7th at the Gulfport Sportsplex. I believe we have the best group of coaches yet with all the old faces coming back and in addition I have my father, Louis Arde, a highly decorated professional soccer player and coach from South Africa joining the staff as well as adding 3 NCAA division one soccer players from Drake University to the line-up of coaches this year.
We will be focusing hard on skills and other aspects of the game. This year we will be adding to the syllabus , advanced training for the select players and High School players out there. I have attached a flyer that needs to be filled out and sent in as soon as possible. In order to keep the 10 to 1 child-coach ratio, we will be cutting the numbers off at 180 this year. So, please send in your applications soon to hold your child/children’s spot.
If you would help me out by forwarding the application and e-mail to everyone associated with soccer in your address book it would truly be appreciated. Referrals are a big part of our success each year.
This year we will be accepting credit card payments for your convenience at the registration site. Thank You all again and we look forward to working hard with your children to make them better soccer players.
Sincerely, CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE FLYER
