FC United Has Successful Weekend

FC-United-Logo-for-webSeveral FC United teams competed successfully over the weekend, taking home trophies in multiple tournaments.  Congratulations to the FC United 06 U9 Boys Barcelona and FC United 00 u15 Boys Blue for taking 1st place in the Gold Division of the Gator Classic in New Orleans.  The FC United 04 Girls U11 Quickshots also took first place in the Gold Division of the Publix Super Cup in Orange Beach, AL.  Congratulations teams.

Academy Registration is Closed

We have reached and exceeded our player registration goal!  As a result, registration for the Coca-Cola Juniors Skills Academy is now closed.  For those who have already registered, please watch your emails and this website for news on the Academy.  The Academy starts Tuesday, September 2nd, with U5 and early session U7-U9 players starting at 5:30 pm, and late session U7-U12 players running from 6:30-7:45 pm.  Thursday, our U6 players will start at 5:30 pm.  Please plan to be early during the first week and remember to check all players in at the check-in tables, as jerseys and balls (u7 and above) will be handed out.

FC United Coach Gets Player to Italy

Sports News -Tony Schibeci, FC United soccer coach, soccer scout and director of coaching for Pearl River Futbol, has landed a deal with one of the top clubs in Italy to showcase James Pipper, a soccer player from Picayune, Mississippi.

Pipper, who leaves for Italy in July, will meet with the Genova Calcio Club to play along the side with top soccer athletes from around the world, looking for a chance to get drafted.

As one of the top players in South Missippippi, Pipper will have the chance to play in front of many soccer scouts and general managers in hopes of landing a contract outside of the USA.
